This pathfinder was created to help the fourth grade students at Centerville Elementary School in Frederick Maryland find information to include in their social studies reports on Colonial Maryland. The students will also be playing a Jeopardy game about Maryland’s history as part of their Colonial Maryland social studies project. The report sections and game categories are: people, places, government, key events and social/political/religious aspects of life in Colonial Maryland. This pathfinder is a starting place to find information. Students will be provided with time in the media center to work on their projects, but will continue their research outside of school. The students have previously been instructed in the use of all databases included in this pathfinder. The project addresses certain Curriculum standards and 21st Century Standards. A grading rubric for the report portion of the project can be found here.
